Levée de l’avis d’interdiction d’arrosage à Mercier

La Ville de Mercier met fin à l’avis d’interdiction d’arrosage sur son territoire. La levée de l’avis est effective à partir du 3 juin 2020, à 13 h 30.

Étant donné que la demande en eau est particulièrement élevée durant la saison estivale, la Ville de Mercier invite tout de même ses citoyens à ne pas surtaxer le réseau d’alimentation en eau potable, notamment par le respect de sa réglementation municipale en vigueur.

L’arrosage automatique ou à l’aide d’un asperseur sans dispositif d’arrêt est permis uniquement :

  • Numéro d’immeuble pair : les mercredis, de 6 h à 8 h et de 20 h à 23 h
  • Numéro d’immeuble impair : les jeudis, de 6 h à 8 h et de 20 h à 23 h
  • Arrosage manuel (avec dispositif d’arrêt automatique) : permis en tout temps
  • Nouvelle pelouse ou ensemencement : sur obtention d’un permis d’arrosage temporaire (disponible en ligne à mercier.appvoila.com).

Par ailleurs, le remplissage annuel d’une piscine n’est permis qu’au printemps. De plus, le lavage d’une auto est permis uniquement à l’aide d’un seau ou d’un boyau avec dispositif d’arrêt automatique.

Pour toute plainte concernant le non-respect de la réglementation concernant l’arrosage, les citoyens sont invités à téléphoner au Service de police de la Ville de Mercier en composant le
9-1-1. Pour rapporter tout problème concernant l’alimentation en eau potable ou pour toute question concernant la réglementation en vigueur, les citoyens sont invités à communiquer avec le Guichet unique de Mercier, au 450 691-6090, option 1, ou à guichet.unique@ville.mercier.qc.ca.

Lifting of the notice to ban watering at Mercier

The City of Mercier is ending the notice to ban watering on its territory. The lifting of the notice is effective from June 3, 2020, at 1:30 p.m.
Given that water demand is particularly high during the summer season, the City of Mercier still invites its citizens not to overtax the drinking water supply network, in particular by respecting its municipal regulations in force.
Automatic watering or using a sprinkler without a stop device is only permitted:

  • Even building number: Wednesdays, 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Odd building number: Thursdays, 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Manual watering (with automatic stop device): allowed at all times
  • New lawn or seeding: on obtaining a temporary watering permit (available online at mercier.appvoila.com).
    In addition, the annual filling of a swimming pool is only allowed in the spring. In addition, washing a car is only permitted using a bucket or hose with an automatic stop device.
    For any complaint concerning the non-compliance with the regulations concerning watering, citizens are invited to telephone the Police Department of the City of Mercier by dialing
    9-1-1. To report any problem concerning the drinking water supply or for any question concerning the regulations in force, citizens are invited to contact the Mercier Single Window, at 450 691-6090, option 1, or at guichet.unique@ville .mercier.qc.ca.
